What experience do I need to work at Equenele?

We value passion for horses over formal credentials. While experience with horses is helpful, we provide training on our specific cleaning methods and protocols. Physical fitness and reliability are more important than years of experience.

Yes, you’ll need reliable transportation to get to show venues. We don’t provide transportation, but we do try to schedule you at shows within your preferred travel radius.
Shows are scheduled weeks in advance, and we work with your availability. Full-time staff get priority scheduling, while part-time and seasonal workers can choose which shows they want to work. We’re flexible and communicate schedules early.
Wear comfortable, sturdy boots (closed-toe required), work pants or jeans, and weather-appropriate layers. We provide cleaning tools and safety equipment. Bring water, sunscreen, and snacks for long days.
